Thing Organization

Moving on into more organization and interpretation of reading materials has opened up a previously unknown world. Perhaps it should stay unkown but for those that delight in OCD activities. I see that there is some value provided one actually needed their reading materials kept in such a regimented world. http://www.librarything.com/profile/gdurance
In a moment of charity I prefer my book friends the freedom of returning to their homes, living out their time without my constrictions. I doubt my right to tag, review or rate the relationship I have with my reading.

Blogging trama and the misuse of Time

There is to be no end to information, or opinions, found in the world of blogging. If one can imagine those emotional moments that cause the entire body to despair and fear emploding, then you understand what the barrage of blogging does to me. Just to think, Technorati a place to go for all you might ever want to know about what was blogged in the last few minutes. It almost takes my breath away, really. Just going to the site and then going to the site another way and another can take up quite a lot of time before you ever actually begin to read the comments and opinions of unkown bloggers.
Along with the many ways to look for information I found the site pretty confusing and less than friendly.

Countless technological trails and companions too

Once again the machine strikes or rather the rulers of the machine forge ahead, either way another trail becomes available for sorting, organizing, labeling and above all socializing. The nature of the beast of course requires many ways to do similar tasks allowing individuals to choose how they prefer to manage the countless bits of data surrounding them. Hopefully it also enables them to have some fun as well. What would life be without fun as a stimulus.
This particular activity is actually one of the few the give me thought to ponder and perhaps pursue. It might be useful to tag a few sights as long as it doesn't get out of control.

The beat goes on

Time used up, never to be reclaimed, looking at image generators and mashup tools. Actually none of them did anything for me, so I moved on. It is most difficult to discern any valid items in the pulsating confusion of these sites. Returning to the RSS feeds provided a few moments of peace. Alas, peace in chaos.

Scream of networking

Silent voices of the masses speed their way through the ether seeking out like-minded screamers for joyous moments of friendship and sharing. Now they are friends, forever.
Like the industrial revolution, technological networking will send us rushing into an unknown and frightening future. Hang on and have fun or not.

chaos networking

There are, for me, some issues with what has become affectionately termed "Social Networking". How about seriously scary networking?
What need drives an individual to consider technological exchanges of unknown truths to be significantly social?
This says something about our society, one of fear, in which such interchange seems so inviting.
It will be used in the library in whatever format those in the know deem appropriate. The masses will be thrilled even if confused. Those without knowledge will expect instant clarification and understanding so they can enter into the fray of social exchanges.

Intrusive interaction reigns

Instant messaging could be an asset if used for any rational purpose. Used indiscriminately it would add more useless and time consuming data into an already busy environment.
